Air Source Heat Pumps - 40kW and Above
Our Approved Suppliers commercial range includes the DeLonghi-Climaveneta MICS range of Commercial Air Source Heat Pump units.
The MICS range is a modular based system with capacities ranging from 45kW to 180kW effectively providing a single unit system with high operating efficiency and a number of output options:
- Heating
- Heating plus Cooling
- Heating plus cooling with domestic hot water
These three options along with a highly efficient co-efficient of performance mean that these commercial air source heat pumps can provide a real alternative to existing methods of commercial comfort cooling and heating.
Several 180kW modules can be connected in a multiple unit configuration to give capacities in excess of 600kW and above. Therefore significantly large projects can be specified with highly efficient Air Source Heat Pump packages which can give great operational efficiency with a potential COP in excess of 3.4 to 3.6 when operating in standard UK and Ireland conditions.
The MICS range of equipment also provides a number of control options whilst maintaining great simplicity of operation and high efficiency. The DeLonghi-Climaveneta smart defrost system is one of the features on these units which ensures efficient running. This system ensures that the operational period of the unit is maximised by intelligently monitoring the defrost cycle and controlling the unit in such a way that the output of the unit in terms of temperature and kW capacity is maintained at the highest level throughout all conditions.
